One Night Stand

Max Carlyle earns a good living as a commercial director in Los Angeles and has a happy family life with his wife, Mimi, and two children. When Carlyle visits his friend Charlie, who has AIDS, in New York City, he has several run-ins with a beautiful woman named Karen, and eventually sleeps with her. Carlyle's infidelity lingers, even though he returns home the next day and does not return for another year.
