Dad Longworth is on the run from the law during a bank heist in Mexico when he comes upon an opportunity to take the stolen gold and flee the country, leaving his sidekick Rio behind. Rio manages to elude capture and escape from the prison where he has been held since, and he sets out to avenge his father. Dad is now a respectable sheriff in California, and he has been living in constant fear of Rio's return since the incident.
