Ren Amari worked hard to make a new drug that will change the world. OtherLife makes the brain's sense of time bigger and gives the user a direct experience of virtual reality. With OtherLife, a few seconds in real life can feel like hours or days of exciting adventures. As Ren and her team work around the clock to get OtherLife up and running, the government steps in to use the drugs as a radical way to solve the problem of too many people in prison. They will make virtual prisons where criminals can serve long sentences in a matter of minutes. When Ren refuses, her mind turns her into a guinea pig who is stuck in a prison cell. She needs to get away before she goes crazy and then take back control of OtherLife so that no one else has to go through the same thing.
