While visiting his grandfather, a self-absorbed attorney, Matt attempts to convince his eccentric hermit grandfather not to give up his estate as he had planned. Ultimately, Matt decides to make some major life adjustments. Actors Jason London and Ed Asner star in the film. In the event that a woman needs someone to take care of her aging father (Ed Asner), her son isn't her first choice. Is it any wonder that the grandson of Matt (Jason London) is having a difficult time keeping up with his grandfather? Matt's desperation leads him to visit his grandfather in the middle of nowhere, where he spends the night. Even though Matt had a hard time at first, he soon meets a single mother who shows him the value of living simply.
