To gather evidence against three Tunisian brothers who trade in drugs, Mangin, a police investigator in Paris, rely heavily on informants. He detains one of them, Simon, as well as his female companion, Noria, and takes them into custody. Simon's brothers consult with a lawyer. After Noria is sprung, the Tunisians are robbed of 2 million francs, which Noria swiftly steals. Their suspicions are that she is responsible for the theft, putting her life and that of the lawyer in peril. And Noria is teasing both the lawyer and Mangin, who are both interested in her. Mangin is a mercurial character in any case: he intimidates and bloodises suspects, falls in love with a police commission trainee before falling in love with Noria, and wears his emotions on his sleeve throughout the entire episode. Ultimately, the question is whether or not he can save the lawyer and Noria while also convincing her to fall in love with him.
