Pulp: a Film About Life, Death & Supermarkets

Pulp rose to international prominence in the 1990s with anthems such as 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000.' This is their final concert in the United Kingdom, 25 years (and 10 million album sales) after their first appearance in Sheffield. They discuss their feelings about fame, love, mortality, and car maintenance during a one-of-a-kind performance that is only available on the film's soundtrack. A dream-like carefully constructed tableaux involving ordinary individuals recruited from the streets of Sheffield are interwoven with the band's personal offerings, as directed by Florian Habicht (Love Story). Unlike any other music film, Pulp is at once hilarious, heartbreaking, inspiring, and (at times) perplexing.
