A hostage situation is set up in a Manhattan bank by Grimm and his fiancée Phyllis Potter and best friend Loomis, who help him pull off the robbery with ease.. It's all or nothing for the trio now; they have to flee the city and head to the airport. Despite the bank heist's simplicity, it appears that fate has snatched them right out of their grasp. The criminals' escape is thwarted by a series of unfortunate events.
