Ragamuffin
According to Rich Mullins, the inspiration for RAGAMUFFIN came from his life experience as a musical genius who rose quickly through the ranks of Christian music fame and money before abandoning it all to go live amongst the Native Americans. For the remainder of his life, Rich struggled with the uncertainty and brokenness that came from his upbringing on an Indiana tree farm. Christian and church rebel Rich remained steadfast in his devotion to Jesus and refused to be deterred by his troubles with drunkenness, addiction and women. The Four Corners region's Rich became one of the first people in his time to live honestly amid a culture of religion and conformity as he battled prosperity in Nashville and sadness in Wichita.
