Raising the Wind

Gerald Thomas, who directed "Carry On," is in charge of this comedy caper. James Robertson Justice, Sid James, Leslie Phillips, Kenneth Williams, Liz Fraser, and Eric Barker all make early appearances. The movie is about the funny things that happen when a group of music students move into a shared flat to save money and have a place to practice their instruments. Mervyn Hughes (Phillips), who is about to lose his scholarship, makes a mistake and sells one of his compositions to an advertising agency. Can he and his friends find a way to get the money they need to buy back the rights to the song?
