Red Angel

Sakura Nishi, a teenage army nurse, is dispatched to the field hospitals in China during the Sino-Japanese war in 1939. She is required to assist Dr. Okabe with a staggering number of amputations. In the congested wards, she shows compassion for several troops, including one who has lost both arms and has no chance of returning home. She falls in love with Dr. Okabe and follows him to the battlefield, despite the fact that he is impotent due to morphine addiction.
