Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway

'Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway' is a 2008 film documenting the closing night celebration of Rent's original Broadway play on September 7, 2008. Between September 24 and28,2008, the movie had a limited theatrical run in more than 500 theaters with high definition digital projectors in the United States and Canada. September 7 performance and a day of filming on August 20 are used to create the final product. It has a reprise of "Seasons of Love" with both the final cast and cast members from other productions, including the original Broadway cast after the show ends.
