A realistic portrayal of life in a working-class Yorkshire town. A married man has sex with two schoolgirls. Serious yet fun at the same time. Andrea Dunbar adapted two of her own controversial plays into Rita, Sue, and Bob Too. They both work as babysitters for Bob and Michelle's daughters, Rita (Siobhan Finneran) and Sue (Michelle Holmes), on a run-down council estate in Bradford. Bob decides to take Rita and Sue up to a secluded rural side while driving them home one night. Rita and Sue, who are well aware of his intentions, are only too pleased to comply and both have regular sexual encounters with him. Contrary to popular belief, this film is not only humorous but also controversial because of its dark undertones and obvious political correctness.
