Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno
Kenshin has settled into his new life with Kaoru and his other pals when the Meiji administration approaches him with a request. A former assassin like Kenshin, Makoto Shishio, was betrayed, set on fire, and left for dead. He survived and is currently in Kyoto, scheming to destroy the new government with his assembled forces. Against Kaoru's objections, Kenshin grudgingly agrees to travel to Kyoto and assist in preventing the resumption of civil war in his homeland.
