Sahara
After the fall of Tobruk in June 1942, U.S. Army sergeant Joe Gunn leads his tank into the Sahara desert in order to get to Allied lines and avoid Rommel's troops, who are coming toward him. They run out of water soon, and so does he. A whole German battalion wants to get water from an old well. They find water there. Sergeant Gunn decides to fight for the well, even though the odds are against him, even though it's impossible.
