In response to an invasion attempt by a rival nation, the Song Dynasty's ruler dispatches commander Yang Ye (Adam Cheng) to protect the country. Yang's position in the court, on the other hand, is precarious due to a quarrel with Pan Renmei that arose as a result of the accidental death of Pan Renmei's son at the hands of one of Yang's sons. Yang is abandoned by Pan's troops during the battle, leaving him trapped in the face of an onslaught by Yeli Yuan (Shao Bing), an enemy general who intends to murder Yang in order to avenge the death of Yang's father. Once they were informed of their father's condition, Yang Ye's seven sons immediately set out to rescue him at any cost.
