Lawrence goes through a lot after moving into a new house with his mother and soon-to-be father. Six months have passed since his mother and new "father" were married. His mother passes away. Maise's husband had a difficult time dealing with the situation. However, he quickly knows Lawrence is not going to fit in at his home and seeks for an alternative placement for him.
