She's So Lovely

Maureen is expecting a child, but her husband, Eddie, has vanished. Maureen, who is nervous, enjoys a few drinks with her next-door neighbor Kiefer, who tries to rape her and then beats her. When Eddie arrives home and discovers his wife bruised, he goes insane, shoots a paramedic, and is committed to a mental institution. Eddie is released ten years later to discover that Maureen has divorced him and remarried with three children, one of whom is his young daughter Jeanie. Eddie returns home to regain his wife.
