As soon as the race car driver stops by a small Texas town, he sees how quickly and well his stock car, which is on a trailer behind his motor home, has been cleaned and sprayed. People who do bad things turn out to be six orphaned children. He can't get help from the law because the corrupt local sheriff takes most of the money from their thefts in exchange for not putting them in an orphanage. Their charm makes them want to be friends with him. It turns out that they don't like their relationship with the sheriff, so they hide with him. He isn't happy to become their stepfather. It's because of their excitement and great mechanical skills that he starts to make a name for himself on the racetrack. When extra money is taken away from him, the sheriff doesn't like it.
