Jean, a successful industrialist, is living the jet set life in late 1960s Paris. Things aren't going so well at home with his icy wife Danielle, either. He meets Nicole, their new next-door neighbor, and the two become romantically involved. However, she has a nasty ex-boyfriend named Klaus, who keeps popping up in her life. It quickly becomes clear that Danielle and Nicole are plotting against Jean, with Klaus serving as the hitman hired to assassinate him.
