In Nepal, Lakshmi is a thirteen-year-old girl who lives with her family in an old house on a mountain. He says Lakshmi has to leave home and get a job to help her family. When he meets her, he brings her to a beautiful stranger who promises to help her get a job as a maid in the city. In India, Lakshmi is happy to be able to help. When she arrives at "Happiness House," she is filled with hope. As time goes on, it turns out that she has been sold into prostitution.
