Rebecca has spent the majority of her life on a farm in South Dakota. When she attends college in Los Angeles, she quickly feels out of place in the intimidating urban environment. Crawl, a smart party animal, befriends Rebecca and persuades her to remain in the city despite her ambivalence. Rebecca, no longer an innocent farm girl, invites Crawl back to South Dakota during Thanksgiving break, where he poses as her fiancé.
