Space Pirate Captain Harlock: Arcadia of My Youth

The extraterrestrial Illumidus Empire has successfully subjugated humanity on earth after a protracted and bloody conflict to achieve this goal. Harlock, a captain in the Earth's navy, deliberately destroys his ship to prevent the Illumidus from utilizing it, and he flat-out refuses to join them. He launches a private battle against the Illumidus with the assistance of his comrades, Tochiro and the space pirate Emereldas, as well as his lover, Miya. This conflict is extremely bitter.
