The story takes place in a little Georgia town in the 1950s. Agatha, a pregnant con woman on the run, takes sanctuary in a monastery hidden in complete silence. What begins as the ideal location for the birth of a child quickly transforms into a dark den where stillness is enforced. Ghastly secrets are revealed, and Agatha's determination is put to the test. She soon discovers the convent's sick and twisted truth, as well as the strange people that live there. Agatha must now find a way to summon the steely courage she needs to flee and save her baby before she is forever imprisoned within these walls.
