Val, a gangster, just got out of prison after spending 28 years there for killing the son of a crime boss by accident. He goes out with Doc and Hirsch, two other criminals he used to work with, for a night on the town. As the three men go back to old places, think about their glory days, and try to make up for lost time, one of them is stuck in a terrible situation: Doc has orders to kill Val, and time is running out for him to find a way out.
