John and his girlfriend have promised to marry as soon as they have saved $30,000 for their dream home. But, just as they reach their financial goal, John learns that his niece has been accepted to Harvard, and he is reminded of his promise to pay her tuition (nearly $30,000). Duff, John's friend, persuades him to engage in petty crime in order to make the payment... Duff's wacky schemes, on the other hand, spiral out of control quickly.
