Stray Dogs
In this film, a father and his two children traverse the fringes of modern-day Taipei, from the forests and rivers of the outskirts to the rain-streaked streets of the city center. While the father works as a human billboard for luxury residences during the day, his son and daughter spend their time roaming the supermarkets and shopping malls, surviving on free food samples. Every night, the family seeks refuge in an abandoned building on the property. The father is oddly influenced by a hypnotic mural that hangs on the wall of this improvised home, which he doesn't understand. An unexpected visitor comes to visit on the father's birthday, and it's possible that she holds the key to unlocking the feelings that have been buried since the father's death.
