Something strange has taken place across the country. The kingdom is falling into disrepair. People are starting to behave in really odd ways... Even stranger is the fact that many have reported seeing dragons, which are not supposed to exist in the world inhabited by humans. Ged, a wandering wizard, is trying to figure out what is causing all of these strange occurrences so he can stop them. During the course of his voyage, he comes into contact with Prince Arren, a young and troubled adolescent lad. Arren may give off the impression of being a timid young boy, but he actually possesses a significant dark side that gives him power, hatred, ruthlessness, and the inability to show mercy. This is especially true when it comes to protecting Teru. This is the kind of chance that the witch Kumo has been waiting for. She has the ability to use the boy's "fears" as a weapon against Ged, the very person who could assist him.
