Tammy Tell Me True

Tammy moves away from the Mississippi River to attend college, where she meets Tom Freeman (John Gavin). In this and the third Tammy film, Sandra Dee replaces Debbie Reynolds. Mrs. Annie Call, played by veteran Beulah Bondi, is introduced in this film, along with a new theme song, "Tammy Tell Me True." Mrs. Call eventually moves in with Tammy at the Ellen B. and becomes the catalyst for the events in the subsequent film, "Tammy and the Doctor."
