A friend of the family has approached Elly with the request that she spend a few days providing care for an old woman who lives alone in a secluded cottage. She quickly agrees, thinking that a brief excursion into the woods would be a wonderful way to leave the city for a little while. Elly begins hallucinating in ways that blend reality with her fantasies, and it quickly becomes clear that the cabin is anything but restful for her. As the visions take over, Elly comes to the realization that she was led to the location by a demonic spirit that was hidden within the woman and was just waiting to break free.
