The Adventure of Denchu-Kozo
Hikari is a boy who gets picked on and made fun of by the other boys at school because he has an electricity pole growing out of his back. But a girl named Momo, who is one of his classmates, comes to his aid. Hikari showed her how much he appreciated her by giving her his secret possession, a time machine. He then turns on the time machine, which sends him 25 years into the future to a dark, dystopian world. There, he meets people from the Shinsengumi Vampire Gang who are looking for a woman named Dr. Sariba, who turns out to be Momo's future self. She tells Hikari that she had been waiting for him to come back from the past for a long time and that he has a very important job to do here—he is the only one who can save the world.
