Two women, strangers, dwell on the second story of an ancient apartment building on the wrong side of the tracks. Galia is an assassin forced into a sex-trafficking gang. All she wants is to see her daughter in Russia. The grocery cashier Eleanor is a battered wife. She wishes to win the lotto and escape her abusive husband. Galia and Eleanor don't know one other, yet they share a wall and a deep desire to escape. As Galia breaks her latest contract, a woman target, and Eleanor learns she's pregnant, the two women vow to fight for their lives and freedom.
