The Barcelona Vampiress

Barcelona at the turn of the twentieth century has two cities coexisting. The first is bourgeois and modernist, whereas the second is dirty and scandalous. Teresa Guitart, the young daughter of a wealthy family, goes missing, sending shockwaves throughout the country. The police quickly have a suspect: Enriqueta Marti, commonly known as "The Barcelona Vampiress." Sebastia Comas, a journalist, chooses to delve into the Raval neighborhood's tangle of streets, brothels, and secrets in search of the terrible truth behind the Vampiress's kidnappings and grisly murders of children. His investigations will expose a sleazy elite that will go to any length to conceal their heinous vices.
