The Beat That My Heart Skipped

Tom works as a real estate agent, much like his father, and makes his money through shady, and at times harsh, business dealings and transactions. However, a chance encounter inspires him to pick up the piano and pursue a career as a concert pianist. A lovely, young virtuoso pianist who does not speak French assists him in his audition; music is the sole medium of communication between the two of them. However, the constraints of his day job's unattractive world soon become too much for him to cope with.
