The Brigand of Kandahar

British India in the year 1880. Half-caste lieutenant Robert Case is wrongfully discharged from the British Army. He joins the rebel Bengali tribesmen's offensive against the colonial enemy. They apprehend a foreign journalist, and Case tells the story of how he was falsely accused on trumped-up charges by his commanding officers' bigotry and racism. Following a successful British attack on the insurgents, Case is brutally shot by his accuser, Colonel Drewe. The journalist returns home determined to tell the true story of The Brigand of Kandahar.
