The Catered Affair

The next week, Jane and Ralph are getting married. All Jane and Ralph want is a small wedding with just their closest friends and family and no party. Jane's parents are poor, so Jane and Ralph can borrow a car for their honeymoon because they don't own one. When Ralph's parents come over for dinner that night, though, they talk about the big weddings they gave their daughters, and things start to get worse. Then, all of a sudden, there are hundreds of people at the big wedding breakfast. Tom has been saving for 12 years to buy his own cab and license, but now that he can, all of his money is going to pay for a wedding neither he, Jane, or Ralph want.
