The Counterfeiters
It's all about Bernard, a friend of Olivier's who is preparing for his bac. He finds out that he's a bastard and runs away from home. During the night, he sleeps in Olivier's bed (where Olivier describes a recent visit to a prostitute and how he did not find the experience very enjoyable). Before everything went wrong, Bernard stole a suitcase from the house of Olivier's uncle, Edouard. After all of the problems that came with that, he was made Edouard's secretary. A jealous Olivier ends up in Comte de Passavant's hands, who takes him to the Mediterranean with him.
