Chung, a delivery boy, places an order with a local martial arts school. When he hits a bag and kicks out the instructor for his money, he demonstrates that he, too, is a kung fu student. Chung's life isn't easy. His father continuously tells him that he needs to work harder. Chien-Pe, a crippled thug who controls a gang, taunts him one day. Chung fights and assaults them, and as a result, he loses his job. To acquire Chung, Chien goes to his employer, Tai Chung.
