Lebanese terrorists take over a 707 aircraft airliner while it is flying from Athens to Rome and then on to New York City. The terrorists demand that the pilot fly them to Beirut as their destination. What the terrorists don't know is that an elite team of commandoes led by Major McCoy (Norris) and by Colonel Alexander (Marvin) has been called into action to assassinate all terrorists on the plane. This is something that the terrorists are unaware of.
