Engineer Bill Markham has spent ten years searching for his son Tommy, who vanished from the edge of the Brazilian rainforest. He miraculously discovers the boy living among the remote Amazon tribe that adopted him. And so Bill's adventure truly begins. For his son, now an adult, moves deftly through this beautiful but dangerous terrain, fearful only of those who would exploit it. And, as Bill attempts to "rescue" him from the untamed jungle's savagery, Tommy challenges Bill's notions of true civilization and who needs to be rescued.
