Sir Arthur Wing Pinero's classic play, The Enchanted Cottage, is retold in a beautiful manner. When socialite Oliver Bradshaw's face is damaged by battle wounds, he hides from his father, Golden Globe nominee Richard Hatch, to recover in isolation in a Cottage he rented for his honeymoon. Laura Pennington is appointed as Oliver's caregiver. She is a shy, plain nurse. They start to have feelings for each other and eventually fall in love with each other. They realize the cottage's magic has the capacity to transform when they marry.
