Set fifteen years after the first movie, The Exorcist III is about a detective named Lieutenant William F. Kinderman who is looking into a strange series of murders in Georgetown that all have the same signs of a serial killer who has already died. There is one inmate in the mental institution who has recently started to speak, and claims to be the Gemini and recount the murders but bears an unequivocal likeness to Father Damien Karra, whom the patient claims to be.
