Conrad Stonebanks, who co-founded The Expendables with Barney years ago, meets Barney, Christmas, and the rest of the gang. Stonebanks went on to become a violent arms dealer, and Barney was obliged to assassinate him... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who has escaped death before, has made it his mission to bring The Expendables to an end — but Barney has other ideas. Barney believes that he needs to replace old blood with new blood, so he recruits a new generation of Expendables team members, who are younger, faster, and more tech-savvy. In the Expendables' most personal struggle yet, the current mission becomes a confrontation of pure old-school flair versus high-tech competence.
