The Golden Voices

Terrell Christian College (TCC) is hosting the "Golden Voices Competition" this year, yet the school does not have a chorus. The Assistant Dean Vickie Wilson (Tonea Stewart) challenges Georgia Mae Jackson (Irma P. Hall), the director of the music department, to form a chorus within one month or risk losing her job. Her granddaughter, Sidney Nicole Taylor (Nikki Dixon), is tricked into taking over the choir when her grandmother, Georgia, has a back injury. When Sidney hires fallen R&B star Jax Rebel (Mario Mims) to assist her with the choir, she flips the college on its head. Upon learning about Jax's troubled past, Dean Wilson threatens to terminate Georgia's employment should they fail to win the challenge. How much longer can Sidney and Jax keep Georgia in her job?
