The Great Race

The Great Leslie, a professional daredevil and white-suited hero, convinces automotive manufacturers of the turn-of-the-century that a race from New York to Paris (westward across the United States, the Bering Strait, and Russia) will promote automobile sales. Leslie's archrival, the mustachioed and black-clad Professor Fate, swears to beat Leslie to the finish line in a vehicle created by Fate himself.
