When a terrible airborne virus threatens to wipe out the northeastern United States, teacher Elliott Moore (Mark Wahlberg) and his wife (Zooey Deschanel) travel from the infected cities into the countryside in an effort to find the truth about what is happening. Is it an act of terrorism, the unintentional discharge of a very toxic biological weapon by the military, or something much more ominous? This suspenseful film is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who also stars alongside Betty Buckley and John Leguizamo.
