The Happy Film
Stefan Sagmeister, a New York designer, lives in the city of his dreams and creates work for celebrities like the Rolling Stones and Jay-Z. Despite the fact that business is booming and creative impulses are flowing, he believes there must be more to life. Sagmeister undertakes the difficult task of altering his personality by attempting to discover the sources of happiness. Sagmeister tests three distinct approaches: meditation, counseling, and medicines, based on the advise of a reputable psychologist. The Happy Film tracks his journey and all he encounters along the way: joy, ecstasy, heartbreak, change, love, and death, to name a few.
