Two young women from the United States find themselves all by themselves in the middle of the night after their vehicle breaks down in the middle of the forest during a layover in Germany in the middle of a carefree road trip around Europe. When they went to a nearby villa in search of assistance, they were lured into the hands of a demented retired surgeon who explained his twisted scientific vision to the complete terror of those who were held captive by him. They are going to be the focus of his sick dream for the rest of his life, which involves being the first person to link individuals to one another and bringing "the human centipede" to life as a result.
