The Incredible Shrinking Man

Scott Carey is exposed to a radioactive cloud while on a boating trip with his family. At first glance, nothing appears to be wrong, but after a few months, Scott notices that he has lost several inches in height and that he has become shorter. His doctor, who is perplexed by the situation, examines him. Scott becomes increasingly furious as he continues to shrink, eventually reaching three feet in height, and he lashes out at his wife, Louise. He begins to believe that a cure will never be discovered because, despite the fact that he has become a national phenomenon, he is still shrinking.
