The Innocents

1945 in Poland. As a young French Red Cross doctor, Mathilde's goal is to assist World War II veterans. When a pregnant nun seeks her assistance, she is taken to a convent where several other nuns are hiding because they are unable to reconcile their faith with their pregnancies. As a result, Mathilde is their sole hope.
