Scientist Jack Griffin was always given the freedom to conduct his own experiments while working in Dr. Cranley's laboratory. Cranley's daughter Flora is concerned about her father's sudden departure. Griffin has booked a room at the nearby Lion's Head Inn in the hopes of undoing an experiment he performed on himself that rendered him invisible.
